I am old but still get the familiar buzz of excitement when walking in the door. Too old for the furniture, I'm there for all the unnecessary items in the bins!!I go mainly for the wrapping paper now but of course pick up the $3.50 fabulous salad bowl and more napkins AND why not start another set of biscuit jars?...well they're so cheap!! I love that organisey things can make me seem like a halfway decent domestic goddess whilst disguising I am lazy pig. I love the kitchen cupboard storage stuff, had to stop myself from going nuts when I did my renovations eg Hafele http://www.hafelehome.com.au. The only thing about Ikea is that there is heaps of open storage and it gets really dusty (because I am really bad at dusting!!) Don’t worry Kate you’re not alone.
